Janis T. writes: My husband is a construction specialist. He’s very good at what he does, and very careful because the conditions he works under can be dangerous.
He was recently offered a job overseas that is worth a lot of money. For the first time, I am scared, and I’m not sure why. I told him so, and he admitted he was a little worried (he rarely is), but thought it was probably just because the situation was unfamiliar.
Anyway, he doesn’t see how he can turn down a contract that big. Could you please look at our charts and tell me how things look for that time period?
The first thing I see in your birth chart is that Neptune is very prominent, which is a good indicator of psychic ability. Do you pay attention to your hunches? You sure need to this time, because it looks like you have good reason to worry.
Your husband has a structure in his birth chart called a T-square, which gives him the drive (Mars) and discipline (Saturn) to achieve his ambitions (Sun). It is in fixed signs Taurus, Scorpio, and Aquarius, which also makes him cautious and stubborn. But at the time you mention, it is being “hit” by a dangerous combination of planetary conditions that point to a potential disaster through accidents or other unforeseen events.
The culprits are Saturn, Mars, and Uranus, which are forming another T-square in the heavens. This is a pretty violent combination, with Uranus being the “wild card” of the bunch, Mars the potential for injury, and Saturn representing the possibility of fatality. They are all over your husband’s T-square, focusing their energies on his native stresses. Considering the hazardous nature of his job and the unfamiliarity of the client and job site, there is a lot of cause for concern.
Not that I believe a disaster is inevitable. People survive these types of transits all the time, and we all tend to learn most from difficult times. But I think what is significant is that you, with your innate intuitive talents, felt so uneasy about this particular job—as you said, for the first time—and even your solid Taurus husband wasn’t very happy about it. What you have tapped into here is solidly supported by the astrological conditions.
My advice? Convince your husband not to take this job. That might be a bit of a hard sell, considering his earthy, ambitious nature, but since your charts are so harmonious he also might surprise you and agree right away!
I also see that by March, when the astrological danger has passed, generous Jupiter is going to be smiling on his chart and should more than make up for whatever money he turns down now. May you both enjoy it in health and happiness!
