the central image of the high priestiess on the new image spread stuck me for its alignment. The moon, the central axis of the headdress, the spine, the owl and the pomegranate aligned to remind me of the kundalini, the serpent of power based at the spine.
Perhaps, when you get your chakras lined up, you can access the wisdom she holds.
not to mention the vaginal reference of the pomegranate.

Irmata - LOL, I'm a Cancerian too, and that's exactly why I (we) love those cards so much! : ))

Barbara - can't wait to hear more about the Tarot of the Elves and why it is so creepy.

I, too, LOVE the HP and the Moon, but then I'm a Cancerian, so it makes (loony) sense :) The HP always strikes as being a little cheeky, or like Yoda - mysterious, but with a sly smile. And The Moon just makes me happy -> Weirdo!

I'm married to a Capricorn. Poor man. Can you imagine _living_ with the HP and Moon?? I'll send him your deepest sympathies ;)

Adore the LS HP, especially her "pearl" headdress, but don't like the elves card. Don't like that whole deck actually. Yuck. Your scrying debacle is very funny, almost as if you're being taunted by the Mysteries. By the HP hee hee... Loved the article on the Court cards. The system you've devised will be very helpful in building up my understanding of the Courts.

That elves card has caused a lot of debate. It's actually a rather interesting take. I'll talk about it next week when I follow up on this.

The paint thing was pretty silly. Lisa just shook her head. :-)

That's so funny, because I LOVE both the High Priestess and the Moon card! But I can see them not sitting well with your Capricornian energy. : )
However, I really don't like the tarot of the elves image - why all the blood?!

Loved your acrylic paint story! That totally put a smile on my face!
