I received this deck for Christmas and I find it amazing. It's easy to connect to the deck while reading the story the author wrote to go with it.

Blessed Be

Honestly I see it quite differently, than Lada;

The Character in the Ace of Cups seems to be reaching for the cup, almost she cannot believe what she has been praying for has been offered.

The Woman in the Ace of Pents, seems startled by the hand showing her the "Gift".

While the Character in the Ace of Swords, seems to me to be in deep meditation, having just summoned the Sword to him, so I don’t see trepidation there, but a need to maintain sacred space till the sword is fully manifest.

I will say however …

I have a great deal of difficulty really connecting to decks done in this media, I gave a friend the Tarot of the Eternal Night for Christmas. To me too many images done in this media look to me like computer generated Zombies. Some images, like the Queen of Cups in the Eternal Night Deck, really transcend this issue; but over all, Im not convinced this media is quite ready for primetime.

I do draw myself and I to prefer traditional media, like Pencil, myself.

Blessings, BB.

thank you...all of these images convey to me apprehension concerning accepting the gift being offerred, the ace of cups most notably.

Very pretty deck! Lots of beautiful colors and imagery. Thanks for sharing, Barbara, and thanks to Lada for her question. Some pretties to gaze at and ponder...
