A Great Website and a New Interview…With Me

Many years ago (pre-internet popularity), a young woman started the Wiccan/Pagan Press Alliance (WPPA). The goal was to establish communications between writers and publishers of books, magazines, and newsletters so that people could share ideas, successes, and challenges. I encouraged that woman to write a book, and she eventually did so. Her name: Silver RavenWolf.

Many of those newsletters and magazines are gone, now, replaced by new websites that allow for more and faster communication. But there hasn’t been a real replacement for the WPPA. However, I think the Pagan Writers Community may be providing just such a service to the community.

It says on the site that

…the Pagan Writers Community (PWC) was founded in Summer 2009 by unpublished Pagan writer and cover artist Angelique Mroczka.  Mrs. Mroczka wanted to build an online community that would educate, inspire and promote all genres of writers from alternative faiths.

I believe that a community such as PWC is long overdue.  The voices of all writers, including those of alternative faiths, deserve to be heard.

—Angelique Mroczka

The Pagan Writers Community seeks to provide a community that inspires and promotes creative growth in alternative-faith writers of all genres.

If you are a writer, blogger, artist, or think you’d like to become one, I would suggest that you look at the PWC website.

If you go there now, you’ll find an extensive interview with me, along with information about several of my books. You’ll discover some of my past jobs (managing a costume shop), my original professional goals (physician…or rock star!), and how I became a teacher (it wasn’t planned) and a writer (including how Scott Cunningham was involved).

Thanks for the opportunity to participate in this interview, Angelique! And good luck with the PWC.
