This Full Moon in Taurus occurred Thursday, November 10 at 3:16pm Eastern (8:16 pm GMT) at 18 degrees. Full Moons represent the culmination of those things that were begun with the New Moon (in this case the October 26 New Moon in Scorpio). We were asked to listen, patiently, to what those around us had to say.

With the Sun in Scorpio opposite the Moon in Taurus, there will be tension between the aggressive Mars energy and the stable Taurus energy; be extra careful, since both signs are fixed and the pull you feel from each side will be intensified. This strong energy, however, will be tempered some by the conjunction of Venus and Mercury in Sagittarius, which will add a bit of harmony to the situation.

This Full Moon in Taurus occurs Sunday, November 21 at 12:29 pm EST (5:29 pm GMT). This Full Moon is the culmination of that which was begun with the November 5 New Moon in Scorpio, with its themes of death, rebirth, and new growth.

After spending the last couple of weeks focusing on internal changes and growth you are making (or need to make), this Full Moon will bring the focus back to our external relationships. Venus and Jupiter are now direct again. Venus, the planet of love and sensuality, has ended her retrograde in stormy Scorpio and is now direct in Libra, the sign of partnerships. This will be a time of enhanced compassion and sensuality; take time to help others as well as yourself (schedule a relaxing weekend, perhaps?).

While relationships will tend to have a positive spin during this time, money matters could become a tad muddled. Taurus rules the Second House of money, and this Full Moon in Taurus squares Neptune, which may lead to indecisiveness or distrust regarding money matters.

This month’s polarity between laid-back, practical, earthy Taurus and intense and secretive Scorpio are challenged by Mars in Leo and Jupiter in Aquarius. Tune in to yourself and your motivations to make the best use of this full moon energy.

Enjoy the down-to-earth energy of Taurus, and cultivate feelings of self-worth and esteem. The ruling planet of Taurus is Venus, the feminine archetype and the planet of self worth. Feeling good about yourself and in your own skin is a good starting point.
