Term: Cingulum
| DEFINITIONS |
Cingulum: A consecrated Witch’s cord, traditionally either nine feet long or based on measurements of the Witch’s body. It can be used to lay out a circle of ritual and may be worn around the waist to represent the initiation level of the Witch. It may also have knots made in it at certain points, again representing the measure of the Witch and/or to hold magical power.
