| DEFINITIONS |
Elf: (Pl: elves) Originally part of early Germanic myth, elves were seen as a semi-divine race capable of helping or harming humans with magick. In the 1800s they became conflated with fairies, and were supposedly very small in size and lived in natural settings. Some people have claimed that Witches were descendants of intermarriages between human and elf, inheriting the magickal abilities of their ancestry.
