Also known as GDV, Gas Discharge Visualization is a form of aura photography developed by Russian scientist, Dr. Konstantin Korotkov, using glass electrodes creating a pulsed electrical field to detect stress levels in preventative medicine. This technology led to the creation of the GDV (Gas Discharge Visualization) camera to photograph energy fields at the quantum level enabling the user to observe the real-time effectiveness of medical treatments. The GDV camera is now certified as a medical instrument and is used in Russian hospitals and among medical professionals. One of the particular uses has been to identify plants and flowers useful in treating human health needs.

As a result of GDV technology, there is a new perception of the body as a web of energies that also extend beyond its borders to intercommunicate with its environment including other human, plant, animal and the energy fields of the planet. In addition Dr. Koroktkov and his associates experimentally confirmed the esoteric concept that there is a kind of collective intelligence or spirit relating to a garden of vegetation, a forest grove or garden, and even of humanity as a whole and of the Earth Being.
