Summer Love....could there be anything better? After all, this sunny season is a favorite among many brides to walk down the aisle. It’s easier to meet people when the days are longer and the weather pleasant. Everyone’s out and about compared to the winter when we’re apt to be cooped up inside. If you currently flyin’ solo or intimately attached, let’s take a look at what the stars say about summer romance based on your zodiac sign.
Aries - You’re in the best cycle in over a decade for love and marriage. Since June 8th and lasting until October 24th, Jupiter (the planet of expansion and good luck) falls in the love sector of your solar chart. Expect a new attraction any day now (especially if you’re looking!). If you’re spoken for, you’ll fall hopelessly in love again. Relationships of all sorts are highly favored, so make the most of this amazing cycle. Late July and early August is hot!!!!
Taurus - You may not find everything you’re looking for in a partner now but you’ll be content. This summer offers you a sneak peek into the future and what you can expect regarding your love life come Halloween and next year. Your love light shines the brightest then, but that’s no reason to ignore the fun you can have now! However, you may be accused of being temperamental, argumentative and stubborn by a lover. So watch your words around August when you lose patience easily. Late August and early September offers you the best chance for romance before the truly magical period begins a month later.
Gemini - You’ll likely have to make a choice between two lovers this summer. Someone from your past and a sexy new attraction may leave you confused as to who’s really the best choice. Whoever wins your affections could be the “the one.” You may choose to tie the knot with him/her by 2007. Married? It’s time to put more fun in the relationship. Those that play together, stay together. You’ll have plenty of chances to do just that. If you’re hoping to expand the family, this summer’s the time. So get busy!
Cancer - Now that Saturn is moving away from your sun sign, everything looks brighter, including your love life. The full moon on June 22nd in your opposite sign of Capricorn could usher in new romance. Be sure to look your best between June 20-23, even if you’re making a quick trip to the grocery store. You never know who you’ll run into. Cancers are the marrying types and if you’ve already found your soul mate, plan to make him “legal” after July. For you married Crabs, the home front is a lot happier after July 16th when Saturn finds its exit. The bed sheets sizzle in August. Ooh-la-la!
Leo - If you’re lookin’ for love, you’ll find it around August 19th. Actually, the month of July looks pretty good too with Venus kissing your sun sign. Mercury retrograde from July 23 through mid August causes some communication difficulties so be extra supportive of your partner then. During the early part of summer, an ex could suddenly show up unannounced on your doorstep. You’ve changed but has he? If so, invite him in. If not, lock the dead bolt. You’ll be tempted to try again. Committed Lions will have a chance to improve their relationships. You and your sweetie will be working on the same “page” for a change.
Virgo - “Expect the unexpected” is still your motto in regards to love and relationships. But you probably already knew that, didn’t you? Some Virgos have already left a relationship which they’ve outgrown. For others, they’re still deciding what is worth hanging onto or letting go. If you’re single, it’s likely you’ll meet someone in late June or early July...probably through a friend or at a social gathering. If married, your mate will need to grow with you and be open to the new person you are becoming. If they refuse to accept the “new” you, trouble lies ahead. You will know by summer’s end how you truly feel about your current partner.
Libra - Ruled by lovely Venus, you are naturally charismatic. And between mid June and throughout the month of July, your seductive powers are working overtime! Cupid’s arrow is aimed in your direction. Are you ready? It’s likely an Aries, while Gemini or Leo will find you very sexy. If you’re happily hitched already, iron out a few wrinkles in your relationship now so you can make way for romantic summer fun. You’ll find yourself luckier than usual in many areas of your life, especially now and until October.
Scorpio - The fireworks start early this summer, but be careful of power struggles in the game of love near July 25...they could last for six months. If you’re single, it’s likely you will meet someone who’ll sweep you off your feet. If already committed or dating, the relationship will be rocky, due to a heavy Mars transit, opposite your sign, causing all sorts of chaos. Patience will be the key! Scorpios do not like being told what to do and you may feel your partner is being quite bossy and condescending during this period. You may need to bite your tongue to keep peace.
Sagittarius - June is usually a great month for Archers to meet someone and fall hopelessly in love...or lust! This year is no exception. However, you may have more than one romantic interest to choose from. July doesn’t look too bad but watch out for communication difficulties and misunderstandings around the third week of July and first of August. It’s important to fight fair for best results. Some of you may be reminiscing about a past love and suddenly feel the urge to reconnect. It’s not necessarily a bad idea. But before you make that call, ask yourself this question: “Do I really want him or is it just that I’m a little lonely?”
Capricorn - Good news! After challenging Saturn moves out of Cancer, which has been opposing your sign for the past two years, your relationships improve drastically. Bid farewell to negative people and useless relationships that drain your energy. You’ve learned a great deal about who you are and what you really need out of partnerships; both in business and in love. Expect the “new” you to find wonderful opportunities to share your life with others. Late June and early July are great for meeting people or reconnecting with a lost love. From late July through early October, romance is in the cards with a Taurus or Scorpio type.
Aquarius- Saturn, the task master, will be moving in position to oppose your sun sign in mid-July. His visit will last over two years and during this period, you will get rid of bad relationships, deal with challenges in current partnerships and learn a great deal about love, lust and life. If you are single going into this cycle, you will likely meet someone and make a commitment. But you will need to be careful that you do not pick the “wrong” person or you’ll face great responsibility and hardship. If you pick the “right” person, your love life will grow and prosper like never before. If you are married, the union will be tested. If it stands the test of time, it will become stronger than ever. Pisces - Late June and the first three weeks of July find you ready for romance. If you’re looking for someone special, you won’t have to look too far. You may hook up with someone who you’ve known for a while or perhaps a family member may introduce you to someone your type. Married Fish could be tempted to stray during this cycle as they catch a lot of admiring glances from the opposite sex. But if you’re a true-blue type, you can use this positive period to spend extra time with your mate and create lasting memories. If you hope to expand the family, early to mid summer could bring good news regarding a bundle of joy!
