Alternative Healing: What is it?

In our modern world we’ve become used to thinking of our body as a purely physical mechanical wonder, and when something is wrong we expect to "fix it" the same way we get our car fixed when it malfunctions.
Sure, if we break a leg we have to "fix it" with a mechanical repair job often involving steel pins and varieties of cement. And if we develop pneumonia, we "fix it" with an antibiotic. We keep on "fixing it" with repair jobs and doses of vitamins, minerals, pills, capsules, injections, exercises, and manipulations without thought about the real nature of health and non-health.
THE BODY IS AN ENERGY SYSTEM AND ALL ALTERNATIVE HEALING IS ENERGY BASED!
The body really isn't just a physical thing. In fact no thing is just physical. Every thing physical is really an "energy composite," and the bones, flesh and blood of your body are no exception. In addition to being composed of "densified" energy, a healthy body requires a source of freely moving energy. To live, we convert the energy in food into the energy we need just as we convert coal into energy to heat the water that becomes steam to run our electric plants.
Lack of wellness is often a lack of energy in the right places, or the distortion of energy movement from “blocks” and "leakages" that have their origin in emotional, mental and even spiritual challenges. Un-wellness comes when our energy is un-balanced. As we age, we accumulate energy blocks, leakages and imbalance. We become fatigued. We lose our natural immunity. Our body parts wear. We become depressed. We hurt.
Health requires that energy freely moves, as intended, in the body. We are surrounded by energy in addition to that we have within the body. We can absorb all the energy we need and we can direct it and balance it as needed through various practices that are essentially mental guidance of the flow of energy.
THE THREE THINGS YOU NEED: KNOWLEDGE, DISCIPLINE, APPLICATION
Normally you will consult a therapist who will apply her particular knowledge in a scheduled regimen according to your need. In the final analysis, however, it's your body, your energy, and your participation in the program that makes healing possible. And it's your body that knows what’s wrong.
YOU are the captain of the ship! YOU are the ultimate self-healer. The three things you need are readily available to you if you will make the decision to act. No matter what the challenge, the resolution is in your hands.
A long time ago I determined that I wanted to publish books that would empower people to do for themselves those things that ultimately were dependent upon their own actions for success. So many times we've been lead to believe that we require someone else's intervention when in actuality all they can do is mobilize our own power and take credit (and money) for accomplishing what we unknowingly do for ourselves.
Recently we started a new publishing program we call "Next Step" meaning that we combine the books that show "How to" with an audio CD that actually guides the reader to "Do it." The first product in this line is Energy for Life by Colleen Deatsman. This is a dynamic how-to book on energy that revolutionizes health and wellness by helping readers uncover the roots of their energy loss and fatigue, reduce stress and restore physical and energetic balance in their lives. It is an easy-to-follow, step-by-step program of energizing and self-healing techniques that provide a means to functionally rebalance a skewed mind-body-spirit energy matrix.
It is accompanied by a professionally produced audio CD with correctly read & paced scripts with especially composed music to induce a series of altered states of consciousness enabling the user to access and use their energy sources. The CD activates the Mind/Body Interface to immediately apply what you read in the book. Used as instructed, the CD helps you "Do it" for yourself. I have no hesitation in saying that this is one product that I believe everyone should have and use.
