Spell: A Mother's Hands

Color of the Day
Incense of the Day

I was with my mother when her spirit passed into Summerland. After she died, I sat quietly with her, holding her hands. And that's the first time I really noticed her hands. I marveled at all the love, work, and magic that came from those delicate hands. They prepared birthday cakes and wrapped beautiful gifts-just for me-and they wiped away my tears as a child.
This Mother's Day, magically honor your mother's hands. Don't wait like I did to appreciate your mother's hands. Find a photo of your mother holding you, and place it on your altar. Repay the work your mother's hands have done for you by creating something with your hands for her. You could prepare a meal, make a craft, or plant a pot of flowers yourself. As you do, see your mother's hands guiding you. Her hands will always be a part of you.
