Cookie Magic

Color of the day:  Amber
Incense of the day:  Frankincense

However you celebrate the winter season of light and greenery, it's a great time to work some cookie magic! Prepare your favorite roll-out cookie dough (or buy a tube of dough in the grocery case). Work in a llspice for prosperity, cinnamon or ginger for success, or walnuts to see wishes come true. Roll out and cut with cookie cutters, or use a table knife to cut your own shapes. Decorate before baking with silver dragees, decorative sprinkles, and sanding sugars, using them to create astrological, runic, or other symbols. Apply colored icings after the cookies are baked and cooled. A sandwich bag with the corner snipped off makes a cheap and isposable icing bag. use colored incings for color magic: green for prosperity, blue for peace, yellow for happiness and light, and red for family power. Share the cookies with your family and visualize them feating on the magics within!
