LLEWELLYN'S SPELL-A-DAY

A Magickal Act of Creation

Color of the day:  Silver
Incense of the day:  Lily

On this date in 1870, the New York Metropolitan Museum of Art was founded. Today, in honor of this world-renowned institution and the prized works within it, engage in a magickal act of creation and exercise your artistic powers. Think of a goal you would like to work toward achieving and symbols that represent that goal. Gather simple art supplies you already have around the house, such as glue, scissors, colored pencils, paints, etc., then situate yourself in a place where you feel energetically comfortable to create. Envision the end result of your goal, as if you have already achieved it. While holding this intentional vision, make a collage, drawing, painting, or other work of art containing images and symbols relating to this goal. When you are finished, you can hang your creation where you will see it regularly to remind you of your intentions and goals in progress.
