LLEWELLYN'S SPELL-A-DAY

Knocking Down the Walls

Color of the day:  Scarlet
Incense of the day:  Ylang-Ylang

When we are hurt, we often put up walls to protect ourselves from pain and heartache. Sometimes we do not even realize that we have built up these walls as a coping mechanism. It can be difficult to remove them once they are up. This spell will help you do just that so you can be open to your full potential.

You will want to create a visual model of the wall you want to remove. You can get creative here and use Legos or kinetic sand, or you can simply draw a picture of a wall on a piece of paper. As you remove the pieces of your wall, say:

Brick by brick, stone by stone,
I remove this wall to open myself up
to the possibilities that await me.

(If I were drawing a picture, it would look like a pile of bricks next to the wall, with a hand out to remove the next one.)
