Terms of Use and Privacy Policy
This website, teen.llewellyn.com, herein referred to as "Llewellyn's Teen Site", or "Teen Site" targets an audience from ages 8-18. Llewellyn urges children to obtain their parent’s permission before visiting the Teen Site. Llewellyn also urges parents to be aware of the websites their children are visiting.

Using the Teen Site signifies an agreement to the following Terms of Use. If you do not agree to the Terms of Use, then you may not use Llewellyn's Teen Site.

The Children's Online Privacy Protection Rule
Llewellyn does not solicit personal information from children under the age of thirteen. Llewellyn does have one tracking device (cookies) which enables a user to set a page as the user’s default horoscope. If your child is under age thirteen, and you do not wish him/her to have said cookie, please refrain from setting a horoscope as a default.

Contests
As certain projects allow, Llewellyn will from time to time offer contests to users of the Teen Site. In these cases, should Llewellyn need personal information from any child under the age of eighteen (barring those cases in which parental consent is not required, e.g. in obtaining email address and/or name of child to seek consent from parents), Llewellyn will require proof of parental consent. Llewellyn will provide an electronic form that will need to be printed out for those children entering contests which will require the signature and consent of a parent. According to the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act, Llewellyn is “protected from liability under federal and state law for inadvertent disclosures of a child’s information to someone who purports to be a parent” (please see the Federal Trade Commission for source).

You may not copy, reproduce, upload, post, republish, transmit or distribute any material without the express written consent of Llewellyn Worldwide Publications. You may download one copy of material for personal, home or noncommercial use with the stipulation that all work be accredited to Llewellyn.

Should you download Software from Llewellyn, this is only for your personal, home, and noncommercial use and is not considered a title transfer of said Software to you.

Functionality and Satisfaction
Llewellyn Worldwide does not warrant that all functions in the materials provided on the Teen Site will be error free or uninterrupted, nor do we warrant that the servers and/or the Teen Site are free of viruses. Furthermore, we do not guarantee satisfaction on any merchandise purchased from a third party or on the transaction completed with a third party.
