1. You own a metaphysical
shop called The Crystal Garden, and many of your previous books have
focused on crystals (such as The Essential Guide to Crystals, Minerals, and
Stones).
What inspired you to instead focus on aromatherapy in your new book, The Essential Guide to Aromatherapy and
Vibrational Healing?
I've been working and playing with
essential oils for over thirty years. I took a number of courses on
aromatherapy and then became certified by a Naturopathic Doctor. At
that time, I started my own private label with very high quality
medical grade oils. Using essential oils became a daily practice and
soon I created a line of essential oil blends.
My work with essential oils evolved to
include energetic ingredients in these synergistic blends. It started
with a need for smokeless smudging, because my respiratory system
didn't do well in smoke filled rooms during workshops I presented. They
say that necessity is the mother of all invention, and this is surely
the case with "Smudge in Spray." That first creation was the tipping
point, and the rest cascaded into a full-blown Wholesale Division to my
business.
I wrote this book to provide an easy
reference guide to find out how each oil affects us on the physical,
mental, emotional, and spiritual aspects.
2. How
does aromatherapy work? Can anyone use it?

Using the Animal
Totem Tarot to Achieve Your Goals
by Leeza Robertson
Once upon a time, we were all part of the earth. The birds, the
animals, the plants, the dirt, and us. We were one family, related,
bonded, and each holding a thread to the same ancestral story that is
life on earth. Throughout the generations, however, we lost that
connection. Now, Leeza Robertson, creator of The Animal Totem Tarot, discusses the power of
Animal Totems in helping us reconnect with the earth—and
achieving our goals.
