Happiness doesn't need to be bought, and we can't rely
on others to make us happy; doing so will just lead to disappointment.
Your route to joy and happiness lies within your own mind and own
surroundings. No matter where you are in life, you can achieve joy and
happiness. Amy Leigh Mercree, author of the new Joyful Living, provides four ways we can live a
joyful life today.

1. Your new book is Joyful Living: 101 Ways to Transform Your
Spirit & Revitalize Your Life. What inspired you
to write the book??
I wrote Joyful Living because I believe the joy is
the highest vibration in the known universe. I have been a medical
intuitive for fifteen years, and in my practice I have seen that joy is
the most powerful energy that we can access for healing. So, I consider
it part of my life's work to share that information with the world.
2. Is it really possible
for us to be happy—all the time?
That's a tall order for anyone. We will
most likely experience life's ups and downs, but how we weather that
storm is where the power of joy comes in. If we have consistently
established a practice of joyful living, mindfulness, and self-care,
then we are better prepared to deal with the complexities of modern
life. Although we may not be ecstatically happy all of the time, we
will be able to draw on our own inner wellspring of joy and tranquility
and feel that at any moment. And all it really takes is practice. In
the book I take you through 101 exercises or activities that can bring
you joy on a daily basis. So by making happiness a habit, we can bring
it into our lives on a consistent basis. And it's pretty easy; it
really only takes a little bit of effort.
3. Joyful Living
contains 101 ways to infuse your life with joy. Does the book need to
be read in order?
The book is meant to be read in any
order! You can open to any page and read the short inspirational
chapter and do the activity and bring joy into your life immediately.
If you want to read in order, you certainly can integrate progression
to really make a commitment to joy on a regular basis. But, it's meant
to be a fun book and there are no rules! Only joy!

3 Theories to Explain the Loch Ness Monster
by Nick Redfern
When it comes to the matter of mysterious creatures and
unknown animals, one of the most famous of all is Nessie—the monstrous
denizen of Scotland's huge Loch Ness. For centuries stories have
surfaced of a creature—or, far more likely, a colony of
creatures—lurking deep in the waters of the ancient loch, and
occasionally surfacing to tantalize and terrify locals and tourists.
But, what are the Nessies? The theories are many. The answers, however,
are few. Nick Redfern, author of the new Nessie, provides three of the more intriguing
suggestions.
