Most everyone has some kind of debt to overcome, whether it's student loans, credit cards, or something more symbolic or spiritual. To help pay off your debts, collect statements or symbols of what you owe, and with black ink, or with an imaginary ink on the tip of your finger, mark an X on them. Then, using scissors, real or imaginary, cut the "bills" into very small pieces, and let the pieces fall in a pile. Visualize the debt being cut until nothing remains-that is, you are free of the financial burdens. Place the paper pieces in the bottom of a heat-proof container, and place a black votive candle on top of them. Light the candle, and allow it to burn completely until cool. The
wax will have covered the paper and bound it. Remove the wax and paper and bury the whole where it won't be disturbed. Put the bag out of your mind. Pay the bills, but bury the worry.
