Color of the day: Turquoise

The harvest is in, and the cold winds of November blow sleet and rain against the windowpanes. A warm home is security against the winter weather to come. Now is the time to set a soup to simmer on
the stove. As you gather the ingredients, think about the health and welfare of your loved ones. When the stock is ready, stir deosil (clockwise) and add vegetables, one at a time. Enchant the soup as you stir by saying, "I stir this brew with loving care to keep my family well. The gifts of the earth will keep us strong."
