Today is the anniversary of U.S. patriot Patrick Henry's famous "Give me liberty or give me death" speech. Where in your life do you need liberty? Set out a red candle and a pair of scissors. Light your candle, and pass the scissors through the candle's flame. Visualize yourself surrounded by colored strings of energy. Examine the strings closely, noting which strings seem positive and which seem negative. Say: "I cut the strings of all that keeps me imprisoned." Cut any strings that seem unhealthy or negative, leaving any that are healthy or positive. After cutting, run your fingers around your body to "finger comb" and "fluff" your aura. Shake yourself like a dog shaking off water. Take a broom and sweep the floor, saying: "I sweep away the remains of all that kept me from true liberty."
