Every Mother's Day, we take time to honor the women who gave birth to us. What about honoring our spiritual foremothers? Who has influenced you and your path? Was it an ancestor, a writer, a social leader, a Pagan priestess, or a goddess? Take a few moments and meditate. Next, list the names on a paper and add a description of what they mean to you. Write from the heart. Pour your emotion into the paper. Later that night, create a simple ritual to honor those women. During the ritual, light a white candle for remembrance. Burn some sacred incense, like sandalwood or Nag Champa. In the ritual, read what you wrote aloud. As you read it, let love and admiration fill you. Give thanks for the contributions these women made to your path.
