Go to a local plant nursery and look for plants being thrown away if they are past their prime and haven't been sold. Take a plant home and transplant it carefully. As you relieve the stress from the root ball, think about what you can do to relieve the stress of neglected children. As you tenderly nurture the plant, say these words:

You are a child of the Earth, as am I.
I see in you, all the
children of the Earth, and I cry.
With my hands I tend you, with my tears I water you, with my heart I love you, and with my help may you thrive.
