In November the spirit realm is closer to us; this is a perfect time to contact your loved ones who've passed over to the other side. For this ritual you'll need to use a magic mirror. Cover your altar with black fabric and place the magic mirror upon your altar. Light a black candle, and in front of the candle place a photo of the deceased relative you wish to contact. Begin gazing into the mirror. You may call upon your ancestor or ask them a question. The mirror will mist over, then the face of your relative will appear. They'll probably look younger than you remember them. They may spak to you or convey their answer by a gesture. Each of us will see things differently. Expect your session to last about fifteen minutes. Thank you ancestor and ground yourself by eating a small snack.
