Love at First Sight Magic

Color of the day:  Gray
Incense of the day:  Ivy

Tanabata is the traditional Japanese celebration of love at first sight, practiced in a culture where arranged marriages were once the norm. Doomed to partake in a forced marriage, Princess Shokujo fell in love with Kengyo. The Sky King forbade their love, but later allowed them to meet once a year on the seventh day of the seventh month.
Tonight, practice Love at First Sight magic. Meditate on a person, place, thing, or idea that you fell in love with at first sight. Conjure the feeling, know the excitement of instant love. Place both hands over your heart and breathe deeply, letting love fill you. Then, exhale and fling your arms open wide, sending the energy out into the world. Know that love at first sight exists and persists. Keep it alive by cultivating the transformational energy within, and releasing it to work its own deep and abiding love-at-first-sight magic.
