Conscious Cooking

Color of the day:  Blue
Incense of the day:  Magnolia

Kitchen witchery is all about food and its preparation, and using that for one's manifesting intent.
However, before you can make that magic happen, you need to know what you're working with.
Prepare a meal that is made from as many locally grown, organic, and free-range ingredients as you can get and afford. If you go to a farmers' market, talk to the farmers about how the animals were raised and killed, and how the plants were cultivated. Ask at the gorcery store where the food you buy comes from; some stores will list the state (or country!) of origin.
As you're preparing the meal, think about the physical places the food came from, the pastures and fields and orchards. Remind yourself, as you eat, that you are eating the soil of the places the plants and animals came from.
