Service to Truth

Color of the day:  Rose
Incense of the day:  Alder

We all know the story of George Washington and the cherry tree. After taking his hatchet to the garden and doing irreparable damage to the tree, the little boy confessed to his father, saying, "I cannot tell a lie."
Be inspired by this heroic deed today, making an effort to be of service to the conveyance of truth. First, however, a meditation on the nature of truth as it ties to your beliefs and values is a must. Spend a few moments to reflect on what truth is in your personal cosmology. Then ask yourself, "What is it that nurtures truth?" Use a divination tool to deepen yourself into this question, perhaps allying with gods and goddesses who know this realm as you do so.
Take the wisdom you receive out into the world through word and deed. Journal on your experiences of this day before bedtime, and look for your dreams to carry messages of the boons of your work, helping to take what you have done into a more deeply embodied place.
