Healing Altar

Color of the day:  Orange
Incense of the day:  Eucalyptus

With the cold and flu season upon us, it's a great time to create a little nook, bookshelf, or table that you can use as a healing altar to send energy to loved ones feeling under the weather.
Place representations of the elements, feathers, seashells, and so on. You can add a representation of a deity associated with healing, such as Quan Yin, Bridget, Asclepius, or whomever you connect to. Add herbs and stones associate with healing and keep candles nearby.
To bless and consecrate the area for healing, smudge the area with incense and hold your hands over the space, using this or a similar blessing:

"I hereby consecrate this healing altar. May it fill my loved ones and me with health, love, and blessings for the greater good and with harm to none. So mote it be."

Now you have everything handy to send quick healing energy anytime someone needs it.
