Honoring Connections

Relationships are what connect us to each other. They are strings of energy stretching from one person to the other. This is a type of magic that most people can sense. We call on it when creating new connections or strengthening those that already exist, or when we need support from someone else.
Today's working acknowledges relationships by representing them in the physical realm. For this you'll need different colors of cotton string, like red (romance), pink (friendship), green (relatives), blue (coworkers), purple (covenmates), and white (miscellaneous).
For each relationship in your life, cut a piece of string. Tie it around your wrist, saying the name of the person it represents. Then say this blessing:

"Love and friendship, kin and kind, ever in my heart and mind.
Magic made and lives entwined, thus we honor ties that bind."

This can also be done as a group ritual.
