Clearing Your Tarot Deck or Divination Tool

Color of the day:  Gray
Incense of the day:  Lily

It's easy to take for granted the fact that our divination tools need regular cleansing and clearing. Keeping in mind that these tools are the hosts of both cosmic and interpersonal energies, it only makes sense that their essence needs to be realigned every now and again.
Enter a sacred space and "work" the tool(s). Shuffle the cards, riffle through the runes, roll the crystal ball-whatever you need to do.
Approach the east and bless the tool(s) with the smoke of sage.
Approach the south and bless the tool(s) with the flame of a candle.
Approach the west and bless the tool(s) with pure and sacred water.
Approach the north and bless the tool(s) with a hefty amount of salt.
Finally, set the tool(s) in a windowsill to soak up both sunlight and moonlight for however many days your intuition guides you to do so. Happy divining!
