New Moon Solar Eclipse

Today we have a solar eclipse, which means the moon is new. While the eclipse will only be visible over the African continent, the energy is still around us waiting to be put to use. This is a unique magickal time, as spells cast during an eclipse have staying power until the next eclipse occurs. Now that summer is drawing to a close and fall is just around the corner, let's use this opportunity to gather in abundance.
For this spell, you can burn a white candle for the new moon and a gold candle to represent all the wealth of the harvest season that is upon us. Light the candles and repeat this charm:

"The solar eclipse is a magickal day.
I conjure for abundance to come my way.
A white candle for the new moon and starts that are fresh,
Gold for abundant harvest, that my spell may be blessed.
As the sun and m oon now meet in the sky,
Let my spirit soar and my magick fly!"
