A Fireside Spell

In Colonial America, fire-gazing was used as a form of fire magic. It became a type of entertainment on cold evenings. This spell can be used to bring a wish into your life. Here are the items you'll need:

A few pine cones

12 twigs from trees such as oak, ash, hazel, or maple

A piece of red yarn

Lay the pine cones in the fireplace,and tie the bundle of twigs together with the yarn. As you tie them, visualize your wish being drawn to you; bind them tightly. Ignite the pine cones, and lay the twigs upon the flames. Whisper your wish, then say:

(I work this spell with flame and fire, To bring me my heart's desire. Be it love, happiness, or good health, Abundance, money, or wealth. Sacred flames, hear what I say, Bring my wish, and let me have my way.)
