POSTED UNDER Moon

Dark Moon Spell of Forbidden Mysteries

Color of the day:  Ivory
Incense of the day:  Clary Sage

There are three nights of the lunar cycle in which the moon cannot be seen in the sky. The dark moon is a time of divination, introspection, incubation, and forbidden
sorceries.

In some ancient (pre-)Hellenic traditions, the dark moon period is ruled by the powers and spirits of the Underworld. Discover what the forbidden sorceries are for you.

Find an oak, yew, or cypress tree. In the evening, go to the tree and dig a small hole underneath it with your own hands. As you dig, know that you are beginning to open to your forbidden mysteries. Leave appropriate offerings that you have intuited or researched in that hole for the spirits of the below. You may trance beneath the tree. When you are finished, walk away and do not look back.
