Celebrating Victory

Color of the day:  Rose
Incense of the day:  Vanilla

Cinco de Mayo is a holiday that celebrates the unexpected victory of the Mexican army over the French forces at the Battle of Puebla. Many of us fight battles every day, and we need to celebrate every victory, even the small ones. This spell is a celebration of your successes, large and small, as well as an acknowledgment that we are all stronger than we think.

Light a white or yellow candle and give yourself a little celebratory gift: a flower, a piece of chocolate, or a new book, perhaps. Think of the things you have accomplished recently-they don't have to be big or special, but give yourself the credit you are due. Then say this spell in a strong voice, with feeling:

"I am strong and capable!
I triumph over adversity!
I am the manifestation of deity!
I am victory personified!
Huzzah for me!"
