LLEWELLYN'S SPELL-A-DAY

Magickal Tablecloth

Color of the day:  Amber
Incense of the day:  Hyacinth

Select or sew a light- or neutral-colored
tablecloth that is made of cotton or a cotton blend, is not too bulky, and fits your favorite table. Use the tablecloth for meals, rituals, or other important gatherings. Afterward, give each guest or participant a permanent ink pen to write on the tablecloth, signing their name and adding a date and perhaps a comment, a sketch, a design, or whatever inspires them.

After they leave, trace over their work with a fine-point permanent marker, then embroider the tracings with brightly colored embroidery floss for permanence. The tablecloth will become a growing memento of important occasions as well as a gathering point for magick and memories.

To use your magickal table cover, lay the decorated cloth over the table with reverence and ceremony. Reflect on the energies within, saying:

"All these people, all these times, all
these intentions, be here with me now."
