LLEWELLYN'S SPELL-A-DAY

Removing Illusions

Color of the day:  Crimson
Incense of the day:  Nutmeg

Today is Smoke and Mirrors Day, which typically honors that which is associated with magicians and that which is unseen. As magickal practitioners, we can work with this concept to remove illusions that are creating a blockage for us.

Take a small mirror and cover it with a square of cloth. Focus on your intention to remove the illusions that are keeping you from seeing the truth of a situation. As you do so, slowly remove the square of cloth from the mirror. Once the cloth is removed, you will be able to see in the mirror and the illusion will be removed, revealing what lies underneath.
