Boundary Vines Druidic Spell

Color of the day:  Amber
Incense of the day:  Eucalyptus

Druids are famous for working with trees, but they also worked with smaller plants. Their sacred bushes and vines included brambles or blackberries, gorse, heather, and ivy. Some species such as hawthorn, hazelnut, holly, and willow can grow either as trees or as bushes. Now is a good time to charm your garden. If you don't have one, you can do someone else's or part of your yard or a park.

For this spell you will need long vines or thin stems, such as willow twigs or blackberry canes. Lay them around the garden's edge to cast the circle. Then put your hands on the earth and chant:

"Cerridwen, goddess of death and birth,
Cerridwen, goddess of grain and earth,
Banish the bad and don't let it in,
Gather the good and keep it within."

Visualize the land nourishing your garden but pests being unable to enter. Afterward, leave the stems behind.
