POSTED UNDER Children, Moon, Sun, AND MORE

We Are One

Color of the day:  Brown
Incense of the day:  Bay laurel

Let’s perform a ritual so that we may remember the tragedy that occurred on this date. Perhaps we can prevent something similar from happening again. First, fill a small bowl with water and drop a pebble into the center. Watch the ripples move outward. Realize that we are that pebble. Everything we do moves away from us, eventually affecting the world.
Now say the following:

"We are children of the same valleys,
the same forests, the same trees.
We are children of the same
oceans and the same seas.
We are circling beneath the same stars.
The same Creator created us all.
We dance the dance of life beneath
the same moon and sun,
We are different, but we are one."

Today and every day, try to make a difference. Stand up against social injustice, or be a mentor to a child. Maybe if we send out enough ripples, we’ll change the world.
