Put It in a Bucket

Color of the day:  Amber
Incense of the day:  Frankincense

Being witchy means being crafty, but what does one do with magickal leftovers from dolls, spells, and petition papers? How about storing them in a magickal bucket?

Many craft stores sell plastic buckets, which come in all sizes and shapes. Pick one that suits you. Have fun decorating it with witchy signs and symbols. When you have remnants from your workings, such as herbs, candle wax, papers, or hair, drop them in your magickal bucket.

Once your bucket is full, dig a hole on a dark witchy night and empty your bucket into the soil, preferably behind your home. Placing your remnants behind your home keeps your magick with you, protecting you. Cover the remnants with soil and say:

On this night and every night,
the earth keeps these things, to
her delight. She guards them
well, for no one tells, what lies
beneath the soil is hidden well!
