Anuket Invocation

Color of the day:  Purple
Incense of the day:  Myrrh

An uket is the Egyptian goddess associated with the yearly flooding of the Nile. Her many gifts include abundance, fertility, harmony, and joy.

Today, wash a handful of coins in water and white vinegar. Dry them in sunlight or with a towel, then place them in a ceramic or glass bowl. Fill the bowl with water, place a floating candle on top, and light the candle.
Say:

Anuket, nurturing goddess of the
Nile and the overflowing waters, I
respectfully invoke your presence.
Please flood my life with an endless
flow of prosperity, laughter, and love.
Open me up to receive, and help me
remember that the more I have, the
more I have to share. Thank you.

Allow the candle to safely burn for at least an hour. Dispose of the remaining wax, release the water to a moving body of water (preferably a river), and donate the coins to a charity of your choice.
