Maple Leaf Kitchen Spell

Color of the day:  Scarlet
Incense of the day:  Ginger

Maple trees and their leaves are associated with prosperity and abundance, probably due to the fact that they produce edible maple syrup, which was once used as currency in trade. Here is an easy-to-make charm to attract abundance to your kitchen.

Gather these materials:
* Olive oil (or essential oil of your choice; cinnamon and clove are both associated with prosperity)
* The biggest, greenest maple leaf you can find

Dip your finger in the oil and draw a circle on the leaf, saying:

By sacred circle and bountiful maple,
Abundance and joy will enter here.

Hide the maple leaf somewhere in your kitchen—the center of food, plenty, and wealth—where it will be undisturbed for several months. Later in the year, retrieve the leaf. It will be dried and crumbly. You can grind it and add it to prosperity incense or herb mixtures.
