Online Friends

Color of the day:  White
Incense of the day:  Clove

Many of us have lots of online friends: official Facebook friends, people who tweet, those who perform on YouTube, and even email friends with whom we exchange frequent notes. It’s good to have friends, even if they’re only words on your phone or faces on your screen. But what if they’re not really friends? What if they’re spammers or phishers or thieves? It’s time to do a protection spell for the benefit of yourself and your true friends.

Lay Tarot cards VIII ( Justice, in the French stream) and XI (Strength) on your altar. Lay your devices on the cards. Light red and black candles. Now speak to Justice and Strength:

I call to you to protect me, to secure my
devices and my identity, and to bless
my true online friends. Great Powers,
chase away offenders and thieves of
my security online and in person.

Let the candles safely burn down (but not drip on your electronics!). Then give thanks to the Powers.
