Underwater Bathtime Balancing

To connect more deeply with the essence of water, thereby connecting to your own emotional healing and awareness, draw a bath. Sit with the water in dark silence, listening to the sounds of the flowing fountain filling the tub with life-giving water. The sound may put you into a sort of trance; allow this to happen.

Next, add essential oils, bath salts, etc. Slip into the tub and rock your body slightly to feel the tides of the water coming and going. Again, allow yourself to become entranced by the mystical nature of this element. Bring to mind the qualities of water; consider how precious this resource truly is. Offer your gratitude.

When you’re ready, totally submerge your head in the water. When you do this, “shout” various terms underwater that link you to the element in positive ways, for example, purified, cleansed, nourished, rejuvenated, or empathetic. Use your creativity to enchant the water and yourself by yelling underwater. Quite appropriately, you will be the only one able to hear these sacred shouts.
