Full Moon Divination

Color of the day:  Turquoise
Incense of the day:  Clove

Tonight is the full moon, conveniently occurring at a time when most people can catch it. This lunar phase lends power to many magical workings. One of those is divination. You can see things by the light of the full moon that are difficult or impossible to spot at any other time.

For this spell you will need a bowl or a chalice that is black (or at least dark) on the inside. This makes it more reflective and aids in scrying. Fill the bowl with water and add a pinch of salt, preferably sea salt. Go outside where you can see the full moon. Move around until you can catch its reflection on the surface of the water. Then say:

Full moon, shining round and bright,
Give to me the inner sight.
What is past or yet to be,
Let it now appear to me.

Gaze into the bowl, and you should glimpse images of the past or of future possibilities of use to you. Afterward, pour the water on the ground.
