Let's Go a-Maying

Color of the day:  Scarlet
Incense of the day:  Basil

Time for romance! Consider this excerpt from the 1648 poem "Corinna's Going a Maying" by Robert Herrick:
See how Aurora throwes her faire
Fresh-quilted colours through the aire:
[…]
Our life is short; and our dayes run
As fast away as does the Sunne:
[…]
So when you or I are made
A fable, song, or fleeting shade;
All love, all liking, all delight
Lies drown'd with us in endlesse night.
Then while time serves, and
we are but decaying;
Come, my Corinna, come,
let's go a-Maying.
What else is there to do but to flirt and enjoy the delights of a May morning? Thinking of your own Corinna (male or female), invoke the powers of Aurora, Cupid, and Aphrodite. Read Herrick's poem aloud as you create a little pouch to hold clove, jasmine, and myrtle, moonstone, pearl, and amber, all of these intended to enhance your attractive parts. Tuck the pouch in your pocket and pick up your phone. Keep in mind that going a-Maying can lead to anything.
