Tidy up your altar both physically and spiritually. Clean up any dust, ashes, or spills. Wash or replace your altar cloth. Dust off any statues, candleholders, or other stationary items. Replenish candles, salt, water, incense, or anything else needed. Cleanse, recharge, and/or replace any crystals or stones.

When your altar is completely clean, spritz the air above it with Florida water or another cleansing protective type of spray. Close your eyes and send energy through your power (dominant) hand, projecting it at your altar, slowly moving your hand back and forth.
