Bigfoot is Afoot

Bigfoot. Sasquatch. Whatever you call the cryptozoological creature, it’s apparently live and well all over the United States.

A trail cam in northern Minnesota captured an image of a creature that was standing upright, and others in the area have spotted something that isn’t the usual local wildlife while hunting in this area.

While catching up on About.com’s paranormal blog, I found out about a sighting that happened in San Antonio.

Yet another article from About.com’s paranormal blog mentions that Bigfoot sightings are on the rise in Michigan.

There are no visual evidence in the last two articles as there is in the first, but that doesn’t mean they aren’t valid. The Michigan story points out something that I think explains the rise in the sightings. When one facet of the world/life cycle/circle of life suffers, every facet suffers to some degree. Something in the Minnesota article touched my heart: a hunter wouldn’t shoot Bigfoot because it has a right to live. That’s a wonderful lesson. Embrace your cryptozoological creatures (even if they don’t smell the best). They are just trying to live in this world, as are we.
