Readers, please enjoy this guest blog post by Adelina St. Clair, author of The Path of a Christian Witch.

I spent the last four years steeped in the writing of The Path of a Christian Witch. Writing has become such an essential part of my life and it gives me great pleasure to contribute to this blog today.

I took up writing about Christian Witchcraft for two main reasons. First of all, there is very little literature on Christian Paganism, and when I say very little, I am being generous. The second reason for writing this book was an ever-present hope that there were others like me out there, others struggling between their love of Jesus and the magic of the Goddess. I wanted to give these seekers a place to start, a place to call home and a dream of community. I also wanted to begin a new dialogue between strict Pagans and Christians by offering a new way of seeing Christianity. I hope that my stories will reach people of both faiths on a deeply personal level.

So, for four years, every moment I could spare went into the writing of my journey towards becoming a Christian Witch. I thought that the final printing of the book would feel like the culmination of my efforts. I thought it would feel like finally arriving at a long sought destination. Well, it doesn’t feel that way at all! Emails from people professing Christian Pagan affiliations are starting to trickle in. Their message is  loud and clear: We are here!  Just as I had hoped….

So instead of feeling like a conclusion, it is the beginning of a brand new journey. I hope the few pages  I put together will be the beginning of many journeys of peace and discovery. Until we meet, may your roads be filled with love and happiness.
