For many years I lived in the San Diego area. It was while living in Encinitas, part of the North County area of San Diego, that I began teaching classes on occultism and magick, and where I learned Oriental Massage. Later, I moved to the city itself, sharing an apartment with Scott Cunningham. It was while I was there that I took all of my notes and experience from the classes I taught and wrote Modern Magick.
As part of my thanks to the people in the community, I am returning to San Diego this coming Saturday, the 11th of September, to participate in the San Diego Pagan Pride Day event. The event is being held in beautiful Balboa Park. It will be at the corner of 6th and El Prado on
