


Jacqueline Jackson is the author of Holistic Trauma Healing: Strategies to Integrate the Body, Mind, and Spirit and Urge Overkill: A Story of Breaking Free. A trauma-informed wellness educator, yoga teacher, speaker, and peer parent facilitator, she is dedicated to helping people reconnect with their innate capacity for healing, resilience, and wellbeing.
Drawing on a diverse background in social work, newspaper reporting, and sales and marketing—as well as her own experiences navigating trauma, caregiving, and cancer survivorship—Jackie brings a grounded, compassionate, and practical approach to her work. She serves as a group facilitator with Other Parents Like Me, a national online support network for caregivers of children facing mental health and substance use challenges. She is certified in the Invitation to Change Approach (ITC) through the Center for Motivation and Change and in Youth Mental Health First Aid (YMHFA).
An Experienced Registered Yoga Teacher (ERYT-500), Yoga Alliance Continuing Education Provider (YACEP®), and member of the International Association of Yoga Therapists (IAYT), Jackie has been teaching since 2001. She has shared mindfulness, stress reduction, and resilience-building practices with thousands of individuals in healthcare, community, educational, and wellness settings. Her advanced training includes comprehensive yoga therapy studies, trauma-informed yoga, and Somatic EMDR.
Through her writing, teaching, and speaking, Jackie empowers others with practical tools for nervous system regulation, self-compassion, and holistic healing.
