Two Llewellyn titles, Bridge to the Afterlife (Troy Parkinson; Bronze in the Inspirational/Spiritual category) and Follow the Shaman’s Call (Mike Williams; Silver in the New Age [Mind-Body-Spirit] category) are IPPY  award winners! As noted last week, these titles were named as finalists in the 2010 Independent Publisher Awards, which are designed to bring increased recognition to the deserving but often unsung titles published by independent authors and publishers.

In a departure from previous years’ protocol (where awards were both announced and distributed at the pre-BEA ceremony in New York City),  the 2010 Independent Publisher Awards (IPPYs) were revealed via an announcement on their website. The party is scheduled for May 25, where award winners will be on hand to accept their medals.

In addition, two books from Llewellyn’s Flux imprint (So Punk Rock by Micol Ostow and David Ostow and Ballad by Maggie Stiefvater) were awarded Silver medals in their categories.

A full list of award winners can be found here.

Congratulations to our authors!
